Mr. June

Oh yeah, Today I present to you one of the individuals who had a major influence in my transition to a plant based lifestyle.  It was a combination of his straight to the point lyrics, or his “Body is a temple” lifestyle and his will to just make other people look at the possibility of a better and healthier life for themselves.  With out saying too much more it is my pleasure to present to you Stic @SticmanRBG Mr. June
8l-vAuE1_400x400Name:  Stic of dead prez, Founder of RBG FIT CLUB, AKA Malcolm Exercise lol

Where do you live and where are you from?  ATL SHAWTY GA

Age?  I think I got what Benjamin Buttons had cause I feel like I’m aging younger lol. I’ve seen 4 Decades of Life so far and never felt better

What do you do for a living/profession?  I got more Occupations than the military! Lol.  But some are Member of rap duo dead prez, Producer , Writer & Founder and Creative Director of RBG FIT

Eat, travel, did I say run?

How long have you been vegan?  About 10 years all together

Why did you become vegan?  I was on my thug life mentality drinking smoking eating fast food etc and got sick with gout. So my wife Afya put me on a vegan diet to heal myself from gout and it worked! So I stuck with it and got inspired to take up martial arts and running and meditating and just embrace a holistic health and fitness lifestyle in general.

sticHow was your transition?   It was great. I was surrounded by encouraging healers and had access to alternative foods in the Rasta community of crown heights Brooklyn I lived at the time. One of the best forks in the road I ever took!

What is the funniest misconception(s) that you have heard about vegans?  Well you they say that vegan’s farts stink worse than meat eaters. Not mine of course. I have more of the sandalwood note personally, lol. I don’t think there has been enough scientific tests and I don’t want to be around for that research! Lol

What is your Favorite thing(s) about being a vegan?  I don’t really care for the vegan label, lots of fanatics on all sides but I just appreciate I’ve made friends for life with Vegetables and I actually enjoy what is good for my health. Knowing I’m making positive dietary choices for my long term health and environment and a good example for my family and friends.

What do you think makes a Sexy Bad Ass Vegan?   Isn’t it obvious?! Lol… Nah I guess a sexy badass just mean I embrace health with a gangsta attitude and help bring it to my fans through my music and other than the fact I just freaking ooze sex appeal because of all the zinc and protein I get from pumpkin and hemp seeds. Lol Can’t keep my wife off me! Lol

What is the best vegan dish that you make in your kitchen?

Besides warming up my wife’s cooking leftovers? Lol

Well I do make a few raw dishes.

There’s a raw breakfast dish I call

“Good morning”

1 Apple cut and take the seeds out unless you like eating apple seeds,

A pretty girl’s Handful of Brazil Nuts or Almonds or Peanuts just not deez nuts lol

Two of them big ass medjool Dates

Nice dashes of cinnamon

Kung fu grip some lemon juice in that sucker

Chop it up in food processor

Squeeze lemon juice on that bad boy and you got a good morning, pimpin!

What is the best Vegan Restaurant you have ever had the pleasure of eating at?  #Rice Washington dc. Brussels Sprouts. Period.
