What do you like to do for fun?  Train/motivate people, tennis, movies, read, play practical jokes on others, motivate & inspire others to give ” health ” a try, adventure races, Tough Mudder events…

How long have you been vegan? Been a 100% Raw Vegan for almost 4 years
Why did you become vegan?   1) wanted the best bang for my buck regarding protein while training extremely intensely. 2) made friends with a pet cow in Cagayan De Oro, Philippines while on vacation. I started thinking, I have a 125 lb Alaskan malamute as a pet and “Best Friend”, if I’m an “animal lover” .. Why am I eating chicken, turkey, beef & fish ? 3) gave up dairy and within 2 weeks noticed the difference in my breathing and my training/performance.
How was your transition?  Amazingly easy once I set my mind right… It all just “Clicked”…. My training improved, my physique as well, it just felt right.
What is the funniest misconception(s) that you have heard about vegans?  That they could not gain lean muscle mass. That ” meat ” was the only way to achieve muscle. To me, that thought is funny
What is your Favorite thing(s) about being a vegan?  I feel that I am doing the right thing, I feel great, perform great, recover quickly, enjoy life and I am not part-taking in the slaughter of animals because I was open minded enough to try this ” life-style”.
What do you think makes a Sexy Bad Ass Vegan?  Wanting to show others around the world a better life even amidst stubbornness …. To educate and let others make an educated life-style choice.
What is the best vegan dish that you make in your kitchen?  Since I am 100% Raw Vegan, my recipe is this:”The Rule of One” Salad Cucumber, zucchini, tomato, juice of lemon & lime, avocado, red/yellow/green peppers, clove garlic, celery stalk. Romaine lettuce. 1 tsp Himalayan salt, 1 tsp ground flax seed, sunflower seeds … Mix together all but the lettuce and let all ingredients “get to know each other” for at least 10-15 minutes.. Then add to the romaine and mix up well….
What is the best Vegan Restaurant you have ever had the pleasure of eating at?  Hands down it is Leafy Greens Cafe, St. Petersburg Florida
What advice do you have for those that are thinking of transitioning to a vegan lifestyle?  If you want to LIVE better….. Be Vegan… pretty simple answer with amazing results….
